Calculating dill pogaca calories

Dill pogaca varies in dough composition and size. The calculation on this page uses La Lorraine product 4410206, an already-baked frozen dill pastry, as a clearly identified example. It supplies 407 kcal per 100 g and about 305 kcal for the manufacturer's 75 g piece. Those figures do not describe every homemade or bakery pogaca.

What does one reference piece provide?

A 75 g piece provides 6.6 g protein, 31.5 g carbohydrate and 17.25 g fat. The same amount calculates to 8.25 g saturated fat, 1.5 g sugars and 0.75 g salt. A relatively small sugar figure does not establish low fat or low salt.

Half a reference piece, weighing 37.5 g, contains about 153 kcal. A pastry described as small need not weigh half as much; weighing it is more informative than choosing a generic one-piece measure.

Does losing weight in the oven remove calories?

The specification lists 75 g per piece and an example weight of 70 g after heating. Moisture loss does not remove the same proportion of energy. If you eat the whole piece, use its approximately 305 kcal reference instead of reducing it to 285 kcal simply because the scale now reads 70 g.

A portion calculation from the label keeps the reference weight: 407 × 75 ÷ 100 gives about 305 kcal. The calculator uses the manufacturer's 100 g panel; a separate analysis per gram after heating is unavailable.

The same name can cover different recipes

Homemade versions with lor, white cheese, butter, margarine or yogurt are not interchangeable recipes. Piece size matters alongside the ingredients. Tomato and cucumber can accompany pogaca at breakfast; bread and other pastries should be considered as additional food.

The chosen manufacturer's product contains wheat, eggs and milk. It is neither vegan nor gluten-free. Check the current pack of the product you buy for allergy information.

The yeasted lor and dill pogaca recipe uses a milk dough and spring-onion filling. Its 70 g example differs from this 75 g manufacturer piece in both recipe and weight.

Manufacturer example and unresolved fields

The basis is version 2 of La Lorraine's technical sheet, dated 23 September 2026. Its declarations of 407 kcal per 100 g and 305 kcal per piece agree on a 75 g basis. Unresolved inconsistencies in the fiber line, piece-column heading and kJ field were not silently corrected; fiber remains unknown rather than zero. Sesame information differs between the short warning and allergen matrix, so no exact ingredient proportion or sesame-free claim is made. Nutrition is calculated by the manufacturer from ingredient specifications, not presented as a new laboratory analysis.
