Pistachio Rolls and Piece Size

One roll or a 250 g box?

A weighed 50 g portion of pistachio rolls supplies 210 kcal. At 100 g it supplies 419 kcal; the source’s 155 g serving supplies 650 kcal. An individual roll is not necessarily 50 g, so small and large pieces should not be equated by count.

A 250 g amount of the same pastry supplies about 1048 kcal. The number of rolls in that box depends on their cut size. Remove the packaging and weigh the pastry rather than assigning an arbitrary weight to “one box” or “two pieces”.

Not the same as plain pistachios

The 50 g example contains 20.95 g carbohydrate, 12.08 g fat and 3.71 g protein. Pistachio filling is only part of the finished pastry and syrup. The visible amount of nuts cannot establish the total sugars or fat.

Compare rolls and baklava at equal weights. A large slice and a small roll may differ partly because of size and partly because of recipe. Clotted cream or ice cream served alongside needs to be counted separately.

Source limits

The Diyetkolik entry does not disclose a full recipe or nut percentage. Total sugars, saturated fat, fibre and micronutrients could not be reliably verified; missing values were not set to zero. This is a sweet pastry, not a savoury stuffed leaf or shredded-pastry dessert. Check the maker’s ingredient information for allergens.
