The Namet Ham calculation uses the 50 g pack of 7/24 Dana Jambon, a beef product. It provides 93 kcal per 100 g, or approximately 47 kcal per pack. Chicken ham and other brands have their own nutritional profiles.

One pack in a sandwich, or half in each of two?

A 50 g pack contributes 6.5 g protein, 4 g carbohydrate, 0.5 g fat and 1.5 g salt. Sodium calculated from salt is 600 mg. Dividing the pack equally by weight gives two 25 g portions, each with about 23 kcal, 3.25 g protein and 0.75 g salt.

Using half a pack in each of two sandwiches adds roughly 23 kcal and 3.25 g protein to each sandwich. Bread, cheese and sauces contribute separately. Since slice thickness varies, dividing by pack weight is more consistent than assuming a fixed number of grams per slice.

The pack’s 1.5 g salt and 600 mg sodium express the same contribution in two units. Do not add them together; check the difference between salt and sodium on a label when comparing the figures.

Beef or chicken ham?

The reviewed Namet Chicken Ham provides about 52 kcal, 7 g protein and 1 g salt at the same 50 g weight. The beef version has about 47 kcal, 6.5 g protein and 1.5 g salt. Energy differs by around 5 kcal, while salt differs by 0.5 g. Comparing only the meat type or fat content would miss that distinction.

A separate Danet beef ham example provides 37 kcal, 6.5 g protein and 1 g salt in 50 g. Protein matches Namet at that weight, while Namet has 0.5 g more salt. When changing brands, use the actual pack weight and label rather than slice count alone.

Meat identity and storage

The reference product contains beef, potato starch, water, spices and salt. Its carbohydrate should not all be counted as sugar; no separate sugar figure is supplied. The retailer describes it as ready to eat and specifies storage at 0–4 °C. Follow the pack's instructions after opening and check its complete ingredient and allergen information.
