Tadelle King Size: counting a 52 g bar

How many calories are in one King Size Tadelle?

Using the manufacturer's 571 kcal per 100 g, a 52 g King Size bar gives 297 kcal. Half the bar, 26 g, gives 148 kcal; a 13 g quarter gives 74 kcal. These are divisions of this specific bar, not the smaller Tadelle or the 30 g white-coated version.[1]

Does hazelnut filling make it low in sugar?

This milk-chocolate bar is not the sugar-free product. The declared 47 g sugar per 100 g works out to about 24.4 g per 52 g bar. That is total sugar, not a verified figure for added sugar alone. Hazelnuts do not cancel the sugar or calories, and the filled bar does not have the same nutrition as an equal weight of plain hazelnuts.

Why are protein and fibre left blank?

The sources disagree. Protein is 3.6 g per 100 g on the manufacturer's page but 9.3 g on the retailer's. The manufacturer lists 3 g fibre per 100 g and 1.9 g per 52 g pack, although the former would calculate to 1.56 g. Neither discrepancy was resolved by averaging. Until a matching package is verified, these two values remain unknown here; blank does not mean zero.[2]

The retailer also lists 574 kcal per 100 g. Instead of combining different tables, this calculator consistently uses the manufacturer's 571 kcal basis. The weight and nutrition printed on your actual package take priority.

What about half a bar during weight management?

Sharing a bar or putting half aside makes the amount easier to track. Treat it as chocolate rather than a protein snack. Eating yogurt or drinking milk alongside it does not neutralise its sugar. There is no need to skip a meal after having chocolate or try to cancel it with a fixed number of exercise minutes; return to your usual meal routine.

Avoid this product if you are allergic to milk or hazelnuts, and check the current wrapper for other allergens and trace warnings. Sugar-free Tadelle is a separate product and needs its own label calculation. The label comparison for the 20 g no-added-sugar variety explains the differing manufacturer and retailer figures.

  1. Tadelle: manufacturer table for King Size 52 g.
  2. Özdilekteyim: differing protein and energy declaration, consulted to document the conflict.
