Calories in a serving of Dalyan köfte

The egg-, carrot- and pea-containing recipe reference provides 147 kcal per 100 g. A weighed 150 g serving supplies 221 kcal and 20.25 g protein; 200 g supplies 294 kcal and 27 g protein. Slice thickness and loaf diameter vary, so “one slice” has no universal weight.

An egg-filled centre and the surrounding minced meat do not have identical composition. The table describes a recipe average, not a separate analysis of a small piece containing mainly egg or mainly meat. Include the sauce you actually eat when weighing a serving.

How does it differ from plain meatballs?

The Lokma version combines minced meat, onion, parsley, cumin and breadcrumbs, with boiled eggs and carrot rolled inside. Peas and tomato-paste sauce are included. A plain meatball table would miss the contribution of those additions.

The mince’s fat content, amount of sauce and water lost during cooking affect the result per gram. Oven cooking does not mean the dish contains no fat. Egg-free or breadcrumb-free adaptations need their own calculation; the reference recipe contains egg and wheat.

Tomato-sauced roast beef uses sliced whole-cut meat rather than a minced roll. Having sauce in both dishes does not make their meat proportions or serving values interchangeable.

In kadınbudu köfte, rice is mixed into the beef and egg with breadcrumbs forms an outer coating. Sharing some ingredients does not give the two dishes the same serving values.

Are mashed potatoes or rice included?

Separately served mashed potatoes, rice or pasta are not part of the meatloaf figure. Count the meatloaf and its sauce first, then the side dish. Peas already included in the recipe should not be counted a second time; extra peas added to the plate are a separate amount.

Çiftlik köfte is a separate dish of meatballs served with vegetables. Both plates may contain vegetables and sauce, but an egg-stuffed loaf and a vegetable-meatball dish need their own recipe and serving weight.

Recipe and limits

Values follow the archived 100 g table for GZT Lokma’s Dalyan köfte recipe 29227, which reports 147.1 kcal. The address now redirects to a page listing 146 g water under a 100 g heading; that newer panel was not used. They are recipe estimates, not a measured cooked yield or a universal result for every mince formulation. A separate lamb version from Diyetkolik was rejected because its ingredient and nutrient calculations conflicted. Unreported sugars and saturated fat, and vitamin A without a defined RE/RAE basis, remain unknown.
