What is in the 145 g kashar-cheese sandwich pack?

Dardanel Mr. NO Klasik Kashar Sandwich contains 242 kcal and 10.9 g protein per 100 g. The 145 g pack of two triangles provides 351 kcal, 15.81 g protein and 32.92 g carbohydrate. An equal half by weight is 72.5 g and 175 kcal.

How much cheese and bread?

The manufacturer declares 29% fresh kashar cheese and 45% bread. At those recipe proportions, the 145 g pack contains approximately 42.05 g cheese and 65.25 g bread, with sauce accounting for the remainder. Logging bread and cheese again on top of the prepared sandwich would count the same ingredients twice.

The cheese-and-salami triangle and sesame baton are separate products. Meat filling, bread shape and sauce can all change the ingredients and nutrition. Check the variety on the package as well as the brand name.

When making a kashar toast at home, weigh the cheese and bread separately. Use your cheese label and actual grams rather than applying the ready pack’s 29% cheese proportion to a homemade toast.

The pink 145 g mozzarella-and-ham product declares 18% cheese, about 26.1 g, versus 42.05 g in the kashar pack. The comparison also involves different ham and sauce, not cheese type alone.

The sauce matters too

The tomato sauce mixture includes mayonnaise, mashed potato, ketchup and mustard. The bread contains butter and milk powder, and the mayonnaise contains egg yolk. Cheese and milk ingredients, egg, wheat and mustard are ingredients rather than possible traces. The sandwich should not be assumed dairy-free or egg-free.

The allergen label-reading steps cover the bread and sauce as well as the visible filling.

Salt, sugars and saturated fat

The producer declares 0.9 g salt, 5 g sugars and 9 g saturated fat per 100 g. A 145 g pack therefore contains approximately 1.31 g salt, 7.25 g sugars and 13.05 g saturated fat. Pickles or crisps served with it add their own salt. The sugars figure is total sugars; it does not establish that every gram is added sugar.

Count drinks and side dishes separately. The producer specifies refrigerated storage at 0–4 °C; follow the pack's storage and use-by information.

The same-sized 145 g Mr. NO smoked-salmon sandwich contains about 3.34 g salt, compared with 1.31 g in the kashar pack. A fish filling does not automatically make a sandwich lower in salt.

Manufacturer panel

Dardanel Turkey lists 242 kcal, 22.7 g carbohydrate, 10.9 g protein and 11.5 g fat per 100 g of the 145 g plain-kashar product. Salt converts to 360 mg sodium. Neither an older secondary 140 g entry nor the cheese-and-salami panel was used. Fiber, calcium and other unreported micronutrients remain unknown; the cheese percentage was not used to invent a calcium value.
