Values are calculated from a 100 g basis. The product, recipe and serving amount can change the result. See the food-specific notes below for the reference used.

72 kcal in 150 g of peeled apple

A 150 g portion of raw peeled apple flesh provides 72 kcal, 19.14 g carbohydrate, 15.15 g naturally occurring sugars and 1.95 g fibre. A 200 g portion provides 96 kcal. Weigh the edible flesh after peeling and removing the core, rather than entering the weight of the whole unpeeled apple.

Peeling does not remove all the fibre

This general reference reports 1.3 g fibre per 100 g of peeled apple. USDA's raw skin-on apple reference reports 2.4 g for the same weight. Peeling reduces the fibre amount but does not remove it all. This comparison uses equal edible weights, not two apples of different sizes.

Sliced on its own or added to a recipe

Slicing an apple does not itself change its calories. Weigh the peeled amount you add to yogurt or oats and count those other ingredients separately. Cooking, puréeing, extracting juice or drying creates a different preparation. In particular, 100 g of dried apple chips cannot be treated as 100 g of fresh peeled apple.

Plain boiled apple without added sugar has a separate table based on cooked weight. Do not assume 150 g of raw apple still weighs 150 g after cooking.
