Calories in raw artichoke salad

A 190 g portion of the no-added-oil recipe with raw artichoke, cooked potato, peas and corn provides 103 kcal and 6.68 g fibre. The source’s 380 g serving provides 207 kcal, equivalent to 54 kcal per 100 g.

Which ingredients are raw?

The artichoke is raw, while the potato is boiled and the peas and corn are cooked. Red pepper, dill and lemon juice complete the salad. Its name does not mean every ingredient is raw. Plain boiled artichoke nutrition is not a substitute for the salad made with raw artichoke and accompaniments.

Using drained canned artichoke hearts instead of fresh artichoke changes the recipe’s sodium and vegetable contribution. Even for a canned example without an oil marinade, use your drained grams rather than retaining the fresh salad’s unchanged values.

Count added oil and dressings

The reference recipe contains no olive oil. Adding a weighed 5 g of olive oil to 190 g of salad contributes about 44 kcal, bringing the total to about 148 kcal. Measuring the oil makes the difference between a lemon dressing and an oil-based dressing easier to track.

Yogurt, mayonnaise, parmesan and oil-marinated canned artichokes create different recipes. Record whether you drain a preserved product’s oil rather than automatically applying the fresh-artichoke salad table.

For a side-dish example, 190 g salad with 180 g of the beef çiftlik kebabı provides about 373 kcal and 19.80 g protein. Weigh the two prepared foods separately.

Side salad or a large bowl?

190 g contains 4.8 g protein; 380 g contains 9.6 g. With potato and corn included, the salad is more than a bowl of leafy greens. Record a main dish, bread or yogurt alongside it in its own amount. A recipe table cannot establish a specific organ benefit or predict everyone’s blood-glucose response.

Source note: Values follow Diyetkolik’s salad recipe and its 380 g/206.92 kcal estimate. Added olive oil is calculated using USDA04053 at 884 kcal per 100 g. Total sugars remain unknown; vitamin A in IU was not treated as RAE.
